In the same way, people who overeat often think pleasure comes from excess food.

This simple breathing technique makes it easier to get out of a slump. Especially in the winter months when the days are shorter and gloominess settles in.
It’s important to shift both your breathing AND your self talk.
You'll notice even greater results if you keep your body in a relaxed upright posture as you do this.
Day 5
We learn everything we do (including being overweight) by observing and imitating someone else.
This is just how the human brain works. It happens automatically.
The amazing thing is that when you start to imitate people who DON'T struggle with their weight, you'll release the weight struggle too.

Day 6 Mindset Monday
Model Mondays are about modeling (or imitating) people who are already doing what you want to do.
People learn to overeat by modeling (imitating) someone else who overeats.
You can use the exact same process that caused you to struggle with your weight to RELEASE the struggle and start imitating naturally slender people.
Day 7
Sometimes a person feels so stuck in their weight struggle that they believe it has to be hard to find freedom.
But what if that's not true?
Try this simple exercise next time you want to mindlessly snack, emotionally eat, or binge on sugar and notice how well it works.
