5 steps to growing your business

Many people who read my cheat sheets are hypnotherapists who would like to grow their business.
I'm going to show you how I accidentally grew my business last week.
Hopefully it will inspire you to do the same (if you want to).
I encourage you to ask, "How can I apply these same principles in a way that is right for my business?" while you read.
If you're not a hypnotherapist interested in growing your business, I'm crossing my fingers this will be valuable to you too.
First, let me lay the foundation...
What you need to grow your business
(This is true with ANY business.)
1. You need an "audience".
This is just a fancy way of saying, "You need to talk to someone who actually wants to hear what you have to say."
2. You need to know the right words to say to make your audience want to invest with you.
I call these "The Magic Words". This is where most hypnotists struggle.
They don't know how to help people understand how life-changing it can be to work with them.
3. You need to give them an amazing experience so they keep coming back...or tell their friends to come see you.
I hate to break it to you but the best way to do this is to bravely start before you feel ready.
You will learn 100x faster by DOING than by waiting to feel ready.
Ok, here's the part I promised you. I'm going to tell you how I used those 3 principles to accidentally make $500 and add 105 people to my email list...with about an hour's work.
What if you can do the same? I believe you can.
On Wednesday I hosted a Clubhouse room with the topic...
"How to Sell Without Being Salesy"
I shared the 3 steps above along with some secrets I've learned for making the first 2 steps easy and intuitive.
The presentation lasted 36 minutes.
Next, I created a quick webpage that let people trade their email address for immediate access to the "How to Sell Without Being Salesy" recording.
That took about 20 minutes.
One hundred and five people downloaded the replay (and opted in to my email list).
During the presentation I spontaneously decided to offer my Magic Words program for a 90% discount.
Twenty three people purchased The Magic Words which resulted in $529 in sales.
The reason I'm sharing this is because it inspires the heck out of me to see what other people are doing.
I think, "If they can do it, I can do it!"
The craziest part of this story is that I wasn't even planning to record that Clubhouse presentation.
It was a spontaneous decision.
I had no idea if people would be interested.
Sometimes I try things out and they work better than I'd hoped (it's usually the things I do playfully instead of trying too hard).
Sometimes I try things out and they fall flat.
If I can convey one thing to you, it's this...
Try stuff out.
Don't take yourself too seriously.
Act before you're ready.
